November approaches with the prospect of some more Online Masterclasses. A couple of you have suggested some themes, which I have taken on board and run with. I know you LOVE the research as much as I love learning the songs you pick, so let's get going. Have a good look at the themes below and if you get stuck, I am ready with suggestions!
The way masterclasses work (open to all, regardless of experience): working on Zoom, I group together (usually) three participants who have prepared a song to share (but remember it's a work in progress not a finished performance), and after a warm up you take it in turns to sing and receive 15/20 mins tuition. Also of course you can listen to the tips I give the other singers. It's a good idea to have another device with a backing track - even if the original artist is on the track, I will normally only hear you so it is fine. Our talented, generous and supportive participants are a delight and it is good to spend time with them.
Here is the list of classes - if the dates don't work for you please let me know and I can usually move things around a little.
I have a big library of sheet music so I may be able to send you the 'dots', but learning by ear is always good too.
And can I stress - it's NOT intended to be a scary experience and you should enjoy it! Give it a go......
Stories
Any genre - pop, country, opera, folk, musical theatre, reggae... anywhere there is a tale to be told.

First come first served - and I can add extra classes in, or at the end, if oversubscribed (and you will notice a couple of them are mixed subject). This is going to be so much fun! All I ask is that you let me know in advance which song you intend to try so I can look at it too, and if you want any help or suggestions then drop me a line.
As we get nearer the date I will send you the Zoom link and let you know who you are singing alongside.
