Waves Are Coming In - The Ocean Choir

Here's the three part harmony version as sung at Pettico Wick off St Abbs Head in August 2019, as we spent the sunny summer evening jumping off the little stone jetty, swimming around and attempting to sing 'Waves Are Coming In' and 'Ionn-da', whilst the waves were coming in.

The music that transported me most recently was the above, sung at the New Year.

We've spent many years exploring the western isles of Scotland and now, when we can, we spend lots of time on the Isle of Bute. When I heard the rousing sound of 'Island' and saw the YouTube extract, it made me feel the excitement of approaching the islands on a CalMac ferry, not knowing what awaited us, but sure they would be beautiful and remote - and always wanting to see more!
