Kate Wilson kindly offered to lead a willow weaving workshop as the final Thursday night social of the summer.

It proved a popular event with 16 people having a go at weaving their own fish. Kate and Christine Shield were on hand to offer help and suggestions.

A workshop of two halves! Session One - Group Drumming Circle Session Two - Sonic Bathing & Relaxation

Back by popular demand we welcome musician Simon Wood with a lovely combination of group drumming and sonic bathing. Drumming together is a wonderful way to experience positive life affirming vibes. People who attended the last session in June were beaming when they left. Simon brings an impressive kit of drums and percussion to enhance your drum experience!

The latter part of the workshop will be a total contrast where you will be invited to lie down with comfortable pillows and blankets as Paula and Simon blend words and sounds to take you into deep sonic relaxation. For this part of the workshop Simon makes use of the Hang drum which will lull you to a place of deep drifting and peaceful loveliness. The Hang opens you up and lifts your spirits with its grace and gentleness. A time to simply be with resonant beauty.
