A word and photos from our Choir Leader. "Today (Saturday) was absolutely marvellous and Harbour Lights did themselves more than proud. When the orchestra started we all got emotional - they were brilliant. What a fabulous project to be part of." Sarah

The recording session went very well, and the Choir performed beautifully. I’d also like to thank you all for your professionalism, and for your support in serving the tea!

The Rime - the journey so far... R&D Phase 2, summer 2022

Sound Artist, Matthew Tuckey has been awarded an Arts Council England project grant to work with a small creative team to develop a new sound installation, The Rime, in response to The Rime of the Ancient Mariner by Samuel Taylor Coleridge. As part of this R&D process, we will be recording an original score by composer Katie Doherty, performed by participants from the Northumberland Orchestral Society and the Amble Harbour Light’s Community Choir.

The project 'digital scrapbook' is here: https://www.matthewtuckey.co.uk/the-rime
